First cut scene

Semester 3 overall First cut scene -what is in the scene? ·          Road ·          Telephone lines ·          Car ·          Train lines ·          Foliage… Grass, Bushes, Wheat, tress The special movement will be the license plate spinning on the ground   Second cut scene ·          Train ·          Train crossing The special movement will be the car getting nearly getting hit by the train   Throughout the end experience, I looked at how I can present the result this was for a couple of reasons. Firstly, how to present my work in the format that I wanted to show the viewer the action and how to keep the audience engage with during the video. I looked at how movies did this in car chases in film and I notice that you try and use the environment as much as possible. Following the terrain, seems to make it smooth and flowing through the environment and it shows off where is it set. Secondly using the body lines on the car and getting the movement of the curves. The road

The road For the road I researched as I wanted to keep it all in theme, this led me to choose between a busy highway or side county road. As the project was set in outside of the town, I chose to have a county road as there is a lot of carter within them and I will be able to factor that into the end video. Below is the picture that I took inspiration from. From this, I could use for a reference point and be able to mould the road for the environment The telephone lines As the first part was set on the road, I wanted the have more realism in the environment. I started to research what other models I could use as a backdrop and content which I could use for the video     The car and why I chose it.   For the sense and the environment, I decided to have the car as 1974 Dodge Monaco front, this is because it fits the time frame and the location of the environment which is America.   1980s cargo American   As I knew what kind of style the train I wanted for the project during the research I did check that if fitted in for the surrounding area and though od having a cargo train fitted in nicely it tells a bit more of the what happens in that location. Second scene

 Second scene What will happen? In the second scene, there will be some more action. As you have seen the first cut scene with the car travelling fast down the road, I wanted to contain with the thrill of what the car will happen next. In this scene, you will see the car trying to make the crossing and race the train. The car will only just make it and drive off, but I want to make the experience that the viewer will nevus to watch.   Second cut scene -what is in the scene? ·          The crossing ·          train     The crossing       Above shows the train crossing that will be in the video. This will be the main end feature in my project, that viewer will be able to see the barriers move down to block the road and will see the car is approaching the crossing. Research and development

Research and development    Throughout the project, I have made sure that I did my research before jumping into the project. for finding the correct answer that I wanted I used art station and printers to find and locate all the images which have helps me. I have also used film such as baby driver and bullet to find out how they film and create the driving sense.    As you can see throughout my blog the design process from researching to designing then developing into my project.

Foliage’s for the environment and models

  Foliage’s for the environment and models For the foliage side of the enviroment i used maya to model grass and trees to have in my project. As this project was to keep in the same them as the last copple by having movement in the environment this is to make it feel alive and the audience will be more entailed in the sense. Unfortunately after make them more around I could get it to work in ue4, through I had this problem they still make a nice backdrop for the environment. Grass and two diffrnt trees that i add in to the enviroment. Below modles and ue4 setups

What will happen in the scene?

 What will happen in the scene? In the first sense, there will be a car driving down with road, the camera will be showing off the car and the surrounding environment. There will be a train and other props in the environment which will be highlighted. Below is the list of props which will be in the environment. ·          Road ·          Telephone lines ·          Car ·          Ue4 set up ·          Train lines   One of the key moments in the environment. The special movement will be the license plate spinning on the ground, this is just to add a bit of carter to the whole story and give the viewer more of an interest towards what is happing in the environment. This will happen when the car speeds off at the end of the road scene. The reason why I wanted to add this into the first scene is that it will make the view more entailed into the story.
